to free ourselves from the text, to leave
as much room as possible for play and intention.

A text that is difficult to memorize or digest is a handicap for the actor.

So we'll put that obstacle aside, and concentrate on the game, the body, the breathing...

 

The play: or rather the theatrical soap opera:

This is the imaginary soap opera of Alex Roux and his Solange. A thousand or so characters take shape

writing for the stage.
